Synopsis:  In Bosnia-Herzegovina studying fault activity along the Dinaric Alps, American seismologists Walter Hill and his daughter Laurie found themselves witnessing first hand the horrors of ethnic cleaning when the ever present tension between Muslims and Serbs boiled over, resulting in a major battle for control of a southeastern Bosnia town. the Hills made arrangements to fly over the Dinaric Alps to nearby Croatia, but when reinforcements from Yugoslavia arrived to fortify the Bosnia Serb offensive, they reallized they were in great danger. They managed to arrange for another pilot to fly them out earlier, and are heading to a small airstrip, Hill and Laurie fear their chances of getting out of the country alive are rapidly dwindling.
