Synopsis: Emily Watson and Rachel Griffiths portray gifted musicians Jacqueline and Hilary du Pre, sisters growing up in 1950�s England. Watson rises to international fame with her prodigal talents while her sister, played by Griffiths, marries and begins a family. The constant touring becomes a tremendous strain on lonely, depressed Watson, who looks toward her sister demanding the unthinkable.
