Synopsis: Based on David Rabe�s play, the film centers  upon  Sean Penn, a high powered casting director living on cheap thrills and in the manic pursuit for true love. Penn  lives with his business partner played by Kevin Spacey, who is taking a break from matrimonial responsibilities. A series of encounters with decadence, destiny,  Robin Wrigh Penn, 
Anna Paquin, and Meg Ryan force Penn to look beneath the shiny surface.
