Synopsis: Marcus is a street wise teenager who has gotten involved in shoplifting. His friends begin to pressure him into bigger crimes with better payoffs. However, with the opportunity to leave the city to live with his mother in New Mexico, and the friendship of a girl named Melena, he does consider turning his life around and leaving the "hurricane streets".
